I usually don't add a review. But I had to for these people because of the level of service and hospitality they provided during my stay. The staff was very professional and helpful. They even considered my special requests of amenities while allocating the room. I am very impressed with their ambiance, rooms and the location of the hotel(it is at the end of lake pichola also known as swaroop sagar lake). The food was decent. They have their own inhouse cafe, restaurant & bar. They do not have any common areas(like rooftop terrace or a balcony where you can sit) but they do allow you to visit the bar and spend some time there. Anyone looking for staying with family or couple, this is the best place to go for. This is my go to place from now whenever I visit Udaipur again. ~ Jeet S

I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Shakuntalam Sagar. My wife booked a room here to surprise me for my birthday, and it turned out to be truly special. The room decoration was beautifully done and made the celebration even more memorable. The room itself was very nice, clean, and well-maintained with proper hygiene, which made our stay comfortable and relaxing. I would like to give a special mention to Charanjeet Kaur. She is extremely polite, helpful, and supportive. Her behavior and professionalism really stood out, and I believe she is a great asset to the hotel. Comfortable Stay with Good Food and Courteous Staff We had a pleasant stay at Shakuntalam Sagar Hotel. The hotel is comfortable, well maintained, and the staff is very courteous, polite, and helpful. The food served at the hotel is tasty and of good quality. However, the breakfast has limited options, and the restaurant menu also has relatively limited choices for vegetarian guests. It would be great if they could add more vegetarian dishes and increase the variety, especially during breakfast. Overall, we had a good experience and appreciated the warm hospitality and helpful staff. With a little more variety in the food menu, the experience could be even better. ~ Gaurav A

We stayed here for 3 nights and regretted that why we didn’t chose this place over other destinations. We would love to stay here again during our next visit to Udaipur. Staff is really helpful and always are ready go extra mile for making their guests stay comfortable and memorable one. I feel the team is as good as the manager and can feel the same with the staff behaviour especially Ms. Charanjeet and Ms. Virpal who are led by Mr. Himanshu and their General Manager Mr Pawan Kapoor who are always just a call away to help us. This has been an absolute amazing stay for me and my family. From pristine rooms to a very wonderful and polite staff, it was a very pleasant experience. A plus side is also the fact that they serve a really tasty and healthy choices of food. Everything is freshly cooked with fantastic consistency on taste and quality. The live music adds to the experience of staying here making it a really fun one and for travellers looking for easy commute, it is also within reach of several travel spots. Also not to mention, the view here is serene! For anyone coming to Udaipur, I will highly recommend this place. Be it with family or solo. Review Had a wonderful experience with the live music at Shakuntalam Sagar Restaurant but sitting in another resturant 🎶✨ I’m currently having dinner at Brahma Niwas, which is only around 200 metres away, but the amazing live music caught our attention. The singer’s energy was absolutely fantastic, and every song was performed beautifully. 🎤👏 The vibe, music, and overall energy made the evening really enjoyable. Even from a short distance, the live performance created such a great atmosphere. Highly recommended if you enjoy good music, great energy, and a lively evening! ❤️🎶 ~ Monib S

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and check-in was quick and easy. The location is perfect close to restaurants, shops, and public transport. Amazing stay in Udaipur! We booked a lake view room with a bathtub and it was exactly what we wanted. The hotel is just 600 meters from Fateh Sagar Lake, so the location is perfect. The best part is they have 3 dining options: Mud House - budget friendly cafe with delicious food. Morning buffet at just ₹350 per person. Cave - for fine dining. Satan - rooftop pub with live music on weekends. The vibe was crazy good! Overall great rooms, great food, and great location. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Udaipur. ~ Srishti K

We planned for one night stayed on our recent udaipur trip! The hotel, the staff, the food everything is worth appreciating. They have lake view rooms and even the market and ghat is at walkable distance. Only one suggestion for you all please train the hotel reception call attendants to handle guest complaints promptly and efficiently, ensuring that issues are resolved as quickly as possible. Our stay was extremely pleasant since the day we checked in..The lake view from the room was soothing . The breakfast buffet spread was quite impressive .We stayed for 3 days and every day the spread was different . Had a wonderful stay here. The staff is exceptionally polite and helpful. If you stay here, you don't even need to leave the hotel for great food and nightlife. We spent our evening at Satan Sky Lake Lounge on the rooftop—the panoramic views of Swaroop Sagar lake are breathtaking, the DJ was fantastic and the energy was unmatched. Amazing stay with a peaceful surrounding. Local market is just 5 minutes ride from here. On the left side is fateh sagar lake (5-10 minutes drive) and pichola lake on the ride side (5- 10 minutes drive). Front view is swaroop sagar lake (an extended part of pichola lake , we can say). I recently stayed at Shakuntalam Sagar and it’s a very beautiful property. The rooms are pretty with nice interiors, and the lake view is amazing—right in front of your eyes. Recently stayed at Shakuntalam Sagar, Udaipur and had a genuinely pleasant experience. The biggest highlight of this property is undoubtedly its location.
